VoiceThread…small group efforts to involve the whole large group!

“VoiceThreads are group conversations which are collected and shared in one place from anywhere in the world, all with no software to install.  A VoiceThread is collaborative, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos and allows people to navigate pages and leave comments in 4 ways – using voice (with a microphone or telephone), text, audio file, or video (via a webcam).”  Retrieved from: http://voicethread.com/

The creative VoiceThreads can be shared with friends, students, family and colleagues for them to record comments as well!  It really is quite amazing how interactive it can be.  To view and possibly post some of your own comments, please see my group’s   presentation about Bullying on my VoiceThread Page.

Exploring the Qwiki web site was interesting and intriguing.  I have shared this site with several students and colleagues.  Another tool that is important to all workers is a protective helmet.  So keeping with the Technology Tool kit theme, I created a Concept map- Bicycle Helmet safety for our children who will be “working hard” riding bikes in the Summer time!
